Ankita Garg

Ankita Garg, PhD is a TB Principal Investigator and a significant contributor to the BTS Core of TRAC. She is also an Assistant Professor in the Department of Infectious Diseases in the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Georgia. Her research lab studies host response to bacterial and viral pathogens with a long-term goal of developing novel therapeutic and diagnostic modalities. Her major research theme is deciphering the immunological and molecular factors responsible for tuberculosis disease with or without co-infection with HIV.
